Career Notes: Drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 7th round (198 overall) of the 2021 MLB Draft...Second all-time in wins (24)...Third all-time starts (49)...Third all-time innings pitched (281.1)...Fourth all-time strikeouts (249)...Seventh all-time ERA (2.84).

JUNIOR (2021): Collegiate Baseball All-American Second Team...ABCA/Rawlings all-Pacific Region Second Team...All-WAC First Team...Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Year...Made up one half of Sacramento State's dominating starting pitching duo alongside Travis Adams...Pitched in 14 games, starting all 14 of them, tie for most starts on the team...Was 7-2 with a 2.89 ERA...Had a 1.10 WHIP and a .261 batting average against...His seven wins were tied for second most on the team...Threw a team-leading 87.1 innings...Also led the team with 103 strikeouts, good for a career-best 10.61 K/9...Walked just nine in 87.1 innings, leading the nation with an incredible 0.93 walks-per-nine-innings pitched...Also led the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 11.44 (103 K, 9 BB)...His 103 strikeouts were tied for most in the WAC...Had 38 strikeouts looking, most in the league...Also ranked top-10 in the WAC in ERA (4th, 2.89), innings pitched(4th, 87.1), wins (T-6th, 7), and starts (T-5th, 14)...Threw back-to-back complete games, both seven-inning complete games, first at Tarleton on March 12 and again at Utah Valley on March 19...Threw seven or more innings in seven of his 14 starts and fewer than six innings just three times...Threw a season-high 8.0 innings on April 23 at Northern Colorado...That same game was one of two 14-strikeout performances for the right-hander...Randall first struck out 14, tying the single game record, on March 26 against Dixie State...He tied the record the next month at UNC...Randall struck out seven or more six times...His 103 total strikeouts are seventh most in a single season...Threw a season-high 114 pitches in that April 23 game at Northern Colorado...Allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of his 14 starts...In WAC-only play, was 5-2 with a 3.43 ERA in nine starts...Did not commit an error in 11 defensive chances, collecting five putouts and six assists.

JUNIOR (2020): All-WAC Preseason...Started four games for the Hornets in the shortened 2020 season, tied for most starts on the season...Went 2-1 with a 1.75 ERA...Had an 0.82 WHIP and a .215 batting average against...Led the team with 25.2 innings pitched and was second with 23 strikeouts...Threw at least six innings in all four of his starts...Went a season-long 7.0 innings in an 8-1 win over Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and no walk with six strikeouts...Issued just one walk while striking out 23, good for a 23.0 K:BB ratio, best in the Western Athletic Conference and fifth-best in the country...Struck out at least five in all four starts, including a season-high seven on the road at UC Irvine...Allowed one run or fewer in three of his four starts...Was part of a weekend trio of starters that together posted a spectacular 1.49 ERA (12 earned runs, 72.1 innings pitched) and a 24.6 K:BB ratio. 

SOPHOMORE (2019): All-WAC Second-Team...Pitched in 17 total games with 15 starts...15 total starts were tied for most on the team...Went 8-2 with a 2.59 ERA...Had a 1.27 WHIP and a .237 batting average against...Led the team in multiple pitching categories, including wins (8), ERA (2.59), innings pitched (93.2), and strikeouts looking (29)...Struck out 76 total batters and walked 33 over 93.2 innings of work...Threw a complete game shutout, the first of his career and the only one on the team this season, on April 6 at Cal Baptist...Needed just 101 pitches and 1 hour and 55 minutes to get through the game...Allowed just two hits, no walks, and struck out five in the 1-0 Hornets win...Threw six or more innings nine times in his 15 starts...Held opponents to three runs or fewer in 13 of his 17 games...Made two relief appearances, both in the WAC Tournament, including a five-inning relief appearance against CSU Bakersfield...Struck out a season-high eight in eight innings against Rider and struck out five or more in nine of his 17 games...In WAC only play, was 4-0 with a 2.98 ERA and a .234 batting average against...Was top five in the WAC in multiple categories, including ERA (3rd), innings pitched (3rd), and batters struck out looking (2nd). 

FRESHMAN (2018): Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American...Pitched in 17 games with 16 starts...Went 7-3 with a 3.48 ERA...Had a 1.28 WHIP and a .277 batting average against over 75.0 innings pitched...Was second on the team in wins and third in innings pitched...Struck out 47 while allowing just 82 hits and 14 walks over 75.0 innings of work...His 14 walks were fewest among qualifiers in the WAC and his 1.7 BB/9 was the lowest mark on the team among pitchers with 40 or more innings of work (14 walks, 75.0 innings pitched)...Did not walk more than one batter in any of his final eight starts and walked more than two just once all season...Threw five scoreless innings in his Hornets debut against the Pac-12's Washington...Allowed one or zero runs in eight of his 17 games...Put together a six-game stretch during which he he posted a 1.60 ERA (5 er, 28 innings)...Struck out a career-high six on two separate occasions (Mar. 9 at Santa Clara, Apr. 15 vs. Northern Colorado)...Threw at least 6.0 innings in each of his last four starts, including a career-high 8.0 against Grand Canyon in the WAC Tournament...Allowed just one run on six hits in that game as the Hornets defeated the Lopes, 8-2..Was named a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American, becoming the second Hornet freshman to win the award in the last two years (Parker Brahms, 2017).
