FRESHMAN (2015): Played in 38 games with 21 starts...Started 17 games at third base (team was 11-6 in those games)...Hit .202 with 8 RBIs and 13 runs scored...Had two doubles and a triple...First career hit was a pinch-hit, 2-run double at Fresno State...Had four multi-hit games...Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored to lead Sacramento State to a 5-4 win over No. 18 UC Santa Barbara...Was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts...Had a four-game hitting streak....Totaled 24 assists and 15 putouts defensively.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for head coach Rob Dorchak at Whitney HS...Named to River Cats All-City team as was an All-Capital Athletic League First Team selection in 2013 and 2014...Helped team win Capital Athletic League championships in 2013 and 2014...Hit over .455 as a junior and .428 as a senior and led the CAL in stolen bases both years, with 17 steals as a junior...Selected to the All-Capitol Team by Baseball Sacramento in 2014...Won the 2013 Wendy's High School Heisman award and was the Whitney HS Male Award Winner...Also earned CLAW award for Best Player on the Diamond and won the Brandon Billings Award for work ethic in 2014...Played club with West Coast Baseball Academy for five years...Also played football for one season in high school.
PERSONAL: Parents are Patrick and Kim Floyd...Majoring in business...Born in Anchorage and grew up in Palmer, Alaska before moving to California in sixth grade...Father, Patrick, played and coached in the Alaska Baseball League.
