Biography

SENIOR (2021): Appeared in 21 games, making nine starts...Made six starts at first base, two at catcher, and one in centerfield...Hit .139 (5-36) with a .326 OBP and a .139 SLG...Had five hits and scored five runs...Collected two RBIs in his 21 games...Had the walk-off hit in Sacramento State's 7-6 win at home against San Francisco...Had 26 putouts and one assist in 27 total chances...Did not commit an error. 

SENIOR (2020, UC Davis): Appeared in 16 games, starting all 16 at catcher...Hit .295 over 61 at-bats, hitting one double, one home run, driving in eight and scoring 11 times...Tied for the team-lead with 10 walks...Five multi-hit games on the season...Matched career-high for hits in a single game with three hits against Utah on the second day of the season (Feb. 15)...Caught all 24 innings of UC Davis' win over Loyola Marymount (Feb. 28).

JUNIOR (2019, UC Davis): ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM… BIG WEST FIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK (Feb. 18)… Appeared in 47 games, making 42 starts behind the plate… Hit a career-best .295 on the year with 14 doubles, three home runs, 27 runs scored, 25 RBI and 18 drawn walks… The 14 doubles and 18 walks ranked second on the squad… Finished 5-for-9 at the plate with a team-high seven RBI and four runs scored in the Aggies’ opening series against Northern Colorado, tying the all-time program record for doubles in a single game (3) and driving in a career-best four RBI in the finale—a performance that helped him earn the league's Field Player of the Week award… Tied a career-best three hits against Northern Colorado (Feb. 17), Pacific (Mar. 13), Cal State Fullerton (May 4), and CSUN (May 12)… Drove in a career-high four against Northern Colorado on Feb. 17… Helped UC Davis tie the Division I program team record for single-game home runs against Pacific on Mar. 13, slugging the ninth of his career and the first of three on the afternoon for the Aggies… Finished 3-for-5 on the base paths… Defensively, threw out 15 would-be base stealers and tallied 29 assists. 

SOPHOMORE (2018, UC Davis): Appeared in 49 games, making 44 starts behind the plate… Hit .226 on the year with seven doubles, three home runs, and 23 RBI, while also scoring 25 runs… Slugged .329 on the season with a .356 on-base percentage… Led the team with a career-best 26 drawn walks… Also led the squad in sacrifice bunts (five)… Recorded 10 multi-hit performances to go along with seven multi-RBI contests, driving in a season-high three runs against UC Riverside (Mar. 31) and Long Beach State (Apr. 29)… Defensively, threw out eight would-be base stealers.

SOPHOMORE (2017, UC Davis): Redshirted the season.

FRESHMAN (2016, UC Davis): Appeared in 50 games, making 46 starts behind the plate in his first season with the Aggies... Hit .280 (third on the team) with 10 doubles, a triple, four home runs, and 27 RBI, while also scoring 26 runs... Slugged .429 on the season and posted a .372 on-base percentage... The 10 doubles and four home runs ranked second on the team behind teammate Cameron Olson in both categories... The 26 runs scored were third on the team... Tied for second on the team with 12 multi-hit games... Defensively, threw out 17 would-be base stealers, ranking tied for sixth in the Big West... Collected a season-high four hits in a win over South Dakota State (March 9)... Also had three-hit games against Arizona State (March 11), Pacific (May 1), and UC Santa Barbara (May 8)... Drove home a season-best four runs against the Gauchos in the series finale, and drove in three twice against UC Irvine (April 23) and Pacific (May 1)... Collected his first career hit as part of a two-hit day against Saint Joseph's on Feb. 26... Slugged his first career home run against Nevada on March 29, then homered in three consecutive games against UC Santa Barbara (May 8), Sacramento State (May 10), and CSUN (May 13) -- the first time since Nick Lynch in 2014 to accomplish that feat.
