2025: Appeared in 22 games as the Hornets’ closer, finishing the year with a 3-2 record and a 2.93 ERA to go with 14 saves… Struck out 49 hitters over 43 innings, holding opponents to a .204 average… Finished the year tied for No. 4 in the NCAA in saves while leading the Western Athletic Conference in the category… The 14 saves are second in a single season in school history… Finished the year ranked third in the WAC in ERA, second in opponent batting average, seventh in fewest hits allowed (32), tied for fifth in fewest runs allowed (15), and second in fewest earned runs allowed (14)… His 10.26 strikeouts per nine innings was 10th in the league, while he stood second in both fewest hits (6.70) and fewest runs allowed per nine innings (3.14)... Posted a save in each of his first five appearances on the year and seven of his first nine… Earned his first win of the year against Saint Mary’s (3/15), allowing two hits and striking out two in an inning of work… Added wins against Seattle U (4/12) and at Utah Valley (5/11)… Threw a season-high 3.1 innings twice against San Francisco (2/17) and South Dakota State (2/28)… Struck out eight while allowing one run on a hit against the Dons and added six strikeouts while allowing an unearned run without a hit against the Jackrabbits… Also threw three innings against Ball State (2/21), UT Arlington (3/22), Abilene Christian (4/6), and Utah Valley (5/11), earning two wins and two saves in those four appearances… Struck out multiple hitters in 14 of his 22 appearances… Earned WAC Pitcher of the Week honors on April 21 after collecting a pair of two-inning saves against California Baptist (4/17 & 4/19)… Followed that up with saves in two of the three runs against UC Riverside (4/26 & 4/27)… Picked up the save in the Hornets’ WAC Tournament win over Grand Canyon (5/22)… Allowed only one earned run over his first 20 innings pitched and had a scoreless innings run of 13.1 innings from April 1 to May 4.
2024: Appeared in 22 games on the mound… Finished 3-3 with a 3.72 ERA and notched eight saves as the team’s closer… The eight saves were the most by a Hornet freshman since Sutter McLoughlin set the school single-season record with 17 in 2013… The eight saves are tied for 10th on the school’s single-season list and ranked No. 34 in the NCAA… Struck out 54 over 38.2 innings of work, while holding opponents to a .189 average… Walked only 18 batters… Led the WAC in opponent batting average (.189) and saves, ranked second in strikeouts per nine innings (12.57), third in fewest hits allowed (27), and tied for eighth in fewest runs allowed (19)… Made his collegiate debut against Loyola Marymount (2/16), allowing three runs on two hits in 1.1 innings… From that point on, did not allow a run or a hit over his next six appearances (8.2 innings), striking out 12 with only three walks in that stretch… Picked up his first career win against Utah Valley (3/8) in a 4-3 decision, striking out all three batters he faced… Won his second game at Seattle U, allowing a run on three hits and striking out a pair in 2.1 innings… Added a third win at UT Arlington, striking out two over the final 1.1 innings of a 7-5 victory… Earned his first career save against Fresno State (2/21), getting the final four outs and striking out one in an 8-6 win… Also picked up the save against Minnesota (3/1) with 1.1 innings of scoreless, hitless baseball… Struck out two over 1.2 innings to earn a save against Utah Valley (3/10)… Went two innings and struck out three in 2.0 innings at league champion Grand Canyon (3/28) for his fourth save of the season… Bounced back and earned the save in the next game at Nevada (4/2), striking out three in 2.1 innings… Named the WAC Co-Pitcher of the Week on April 22 after picking up a pair of saves in wins at USC, striking out one in 1.0 inning on April 19 and coming back to strike out three in 2.1 innings against the Trojans on April 21… Finished off his eighth save of the season with five strikeouts in 2.0 innings against Stephen F. Austin (5/12)… Struck out a season-high six in a season-high four innings against Abilene Christian (3/24), allowing just two hits in a scoreless appearance… Struck out at least one in all but two of his 22 appearances, and struck out multiple hitters 16 times — including nine consecutive appearances from March 8 to April 14.

ELK GROVE HS
All-Delta League first team selection as a senior for the Thundering Herd… Hit .276 with 13 runs scored and 26 RBI, slugging seven doubles and four home runs… Hit .328 as a junior with 19 runs scored and 12 RBI, adding a pair of doubles, three triples, and a home run… Finished 5-2 on the mound with a 2.26 ERA, striking out 51 batters in 49.2 innings against only 10 walks.
PERSONAL
Parents are William and Heidi… Has two sisters, Kenedi and Kwinci… Kenedi was a four-year softball letter winner as a pitcher at UC Davis… Made the honor roll at Elk Grove HS and graduated with a 4.2 GPA.
