CAREER NOTES: Tied for fifth in program history with 187 career strikeouts...Seventh in program history with 238.0 innings pitched.

SENIOR (2017): WAC Tournament MVP...Pitched in 19 games with 17 starts...Was 5-8 with a 3.36 ERA...Threw the first no-hitter in program Div. I history in a 2-0 home win over Northern Kentucky on February 23...Faced just two batters over the minimum with one walk and one Hornet fielding error while tying the program record with 13 strikeouts and throwing 107 pitches...Named national Pitcher of the Week by the NCBWA, Perfect Game, Collegiate Baseball, and College Sports Madness and was WAC Pitcher of the Week...Led the WAC with a 1.04 WHIP and .220 opposing batting average...Pitched 112.1 innings, tied for the eighth most in a season in program history...Led the WAC with 108 strikeouts and a 4.15 strikeout to walk ratio...Recorded the fourth most strikeouts in a season in program history and ranked 33rd in NCAA Div. JUNIOR (2016): Pitched in three games (all starts)...Was 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA in 5.2 innings pitched...Missed the last two months of the season due to injury...Threw two scoreless innings with two strikeouts vs. Cal Poly before leaving due to injury...Struck out the only batter he faced in season debut at Auburn...Had four strikeouts in 3.1 innings at Arizona...Allowed just three hits in 5.2 innings for a .150 opposing batting average...Allowed just one extra-base hit.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Academic All-WAC...Pitched in 18 games with 10 starts, serving primarily as the team's Sunday starter...Went 6-6 with a 3.67 ERA in 68.2 innings pitched...Had a .268 opposing batting average with 46 strikeouts to just 16 walks...Tied with teammate Sam Long for the second fewest walks allowed among all qualifying pitchers in the WAC...Threw his first career shutout against New Mexico State, allowing just three hits and one walk with three strikeouts in a 10-0 Hornet win in eight innings (WAC 10-run rule)...Started the season in the bullpen and recorded his first career save in a perfect ninth inning in the team's 5-4 win over No. 18 UC Santa Barbara...Allowed three earned runs or fewer in eight of 10 starts with one earned run or fewer allowed in five starts...Had a career-high eight strikeouts in four innings in relief against Seattle U...Had multiple strikeouts in 13 appearances...Issued two or fewer walks in 16 of 18 appearances...Had nine assists and five putouts with no errors defensively.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014): Pitched in 13 games with 12 starts...Became the team's Sunday starter after working back from Tommy John surgery...Went 4-2 with a 3.86 ERA over 51.1 innings pitched...Allowed just 36 hits with a .199 opposing batting average...Went 2-1 with a 2.12 ERA in WAC games, the third lowest WAC ERA in conference games...Did not allow a run in four games...Had a season high six strikeouts vs. Chicago State...Took a no-hitter into the eighth inning at Bakersfield, finishing with eight shutout innings on one hit and three walks with three strikeouts...Team went 9-3 in his 12 starts.

FRESHMAN (2013): Medical hardship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Taken in the 39th round by the Colorado Rockies in the 2012 MLB draft...Played baseball for head coach Rusty McDonald at El Dorado HS...named Sierra Valley Conference MVP after posting a 9-1 record with a 0.95 ERA in 11 starts with nine complete games, five shutouts and four saves...tallied 126 strikeouts while allowing just 14 walks and 10 earned runs in 74 innings pitched...selected to Cal-Hi's Medium School all-state team...led the Sac-Joaquin Section with nine home runs as he hit a whopping .516 in 95 at-bats with 11 doubles and two triples...earned all-SVC honors after his junior year when he went 4-2 with a 2.23 ERA in six starts, including three complete games and two shutouts...tossed 56 strikeouts in 44 innings as a junior....helped EL Dorado to section titles in 2012 and 2010.
