MLB DRAFT: Selected by the Miami Marlins in the 26th round (773rd pick) in the 2016 MLB Draft 

JUNIOR (2016): Named to watch list for the Johnny Bench Award for the second consecutive season...Played in 57 of 58 games with 53 starts at catcher...Led the WAC with 30 runners caught stealing, 13 more than any other WAC catcher...Part of four double plays...Hit .224 with two home runs and 17 RBIs...Tied for third on the team with 11 doubles...Scored 18 runs and drew 15 walks for a .298 on-base percentage...Hit 13-for-48 (.271) with runners in scoring position...Had 10 multi-hit games with three 3-hit games...Had three multi-RBI games...One of only two Hornets to drive in four runs in a game as he went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, and four RBIs against South Dakota State....Also homered at Nevada...Had a 10-game reached base streak...Primarily hit sixth...Totaled two stolen bases in just three attempts...Had a .984 fielding percentage.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Named to watch list for the Johnny Bench Award...Played in 46 games with 43 starts at catcher...Hit .224 with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs with 15 runs scored...Led the WAC with 27 runners caught stealing, nine more than any other WAC catcher...Ended the season ranked eighth in NCAA Div. I with a .435 caught stealing percentage...Was the primary catcher for the Hornet pitching staff that broke program records with a 2.97 season ERA and a .235 opposing batting average...Ranked third on the team with 10 doubles...Had eight 2-hit games with three multi-RBI games...Went 2-for-3 with a home run and a career-high three RBIs at Utah Valley...Was second on the team with five sacrifice hits...Had an eight-game reached base streak...Hit .275 with two home runs and seven RBIs in WAC play...Was fourth on the team with a .490 slugging percentage in WAC play...Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in Sacramento State's win over North Dakota in the WAC Tournament...Totaled 212 putouts and 61 assists with just three errors for a .989 fielding percentage.

FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 21 games with 14 starts...Hit .171 with two RBIs and two runs scored...Totaled six hits and three walks...Had three sacrifice bunts and was 1-for-1 in stolen base attempts...Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 14 assists and threw out three runners on stolen base attempts...Had one multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored at UC Davis...Hit 4-for-12 (.333) against left handed pitching.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for head coach Matt Kosderka at Wilsonville HS...Named first team all-Northwest Oregon Conference and earned an honorable mention award...Threw out 75% of base runners during his senior season...Also played linebacker and tight end for the Wilsonville football team and was a second team all-state selection and first team all-conference honoree...Broke the school record with 17 tackles in one game.   

PERSONAL: Parents are Dean and Lisa Pollman...Brother, Tyler, plays baseball at Menlo College...Majoring in communications.
