HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Josh Kliner at El Modena HS...Named first team all-Century league and a North Orange County all-star as a senior...Hit .384 with 22 RBIs, 24 runs scored, and two home runs during senior season...Selected as team offensive player of the year...Hit a walk-off home run on opening day of his junior season...Played club baseball for IPB Zinger...Also played football in high school and was a slot receiver for team that won a league title and reached the CIF semifinals
