SOPHOMORE (2025): Appeared in 50 games, hitting .366 with a .448 on-base percentage and a .490 slugging percentage… Earned All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and NJCAA All-Region I honors… Finished with 71 hits and 52 runs scored, slugging 12 doubles, three triples, and a pair of home runs while driving in 36… Walked 28 times and struck out only 14 times in 194 at-bats… Finished with 24 multi-hit games and nine games with multiple RBI… Had a season-high four hits against Mesa Community College (2/18) and had five games with three hits… Walked three times on two occasions.
FRESHMAN (2024): Appeared in 49 games for the Pumas, hitting .359 with a .444 on-base percentage and a .455 slugging percentage… Second-team All-ACCAC and first-team all-region selection… Finished with 52 hits and 29 runs scored, adding eight doubles, three triples, and driving in 25 runs… Also walked 18 times and stole six bases… Finished with 14 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 performance with a run and an RBI at Yavapai College (3/21)… Also had four games with three hits.
NOTRE DAME PREP
Two-year varsity letter winner for the Saints… Hit .333 as a junior in 28 games according to MaxPreps, scoring 30 runs, slugging seven doubles and driving in 16… As a senior, hit .435 in 18 games with 28 runs scored, 37 hits, 10 doubles, and 26 RBI… Was also 5-1 on the mound in his two varsity seasons, making 13 appearances (one start) with 54 strikeouts and 26 walks… Opponents hit just .198 against him as a junior and .241 as a senior… All-region first-team selection in 2022.
PERSONAL
Parents are Elmer and Lorenia… His father had a 14-year career (441 games) in professional baseball, playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates (making his MLB debut in 1996), Cincinnati Reds, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, and New York Mets, while also playing overseas in Japan for the Yomiuri Giants and in the Mexican League with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico… His father was also a pitching coach for the Inland Empire 66ers in 2023… Prep teammates with current Hornet teammate Aaron Kniffin at Notre Dame Prep... 2025 Northwoods League All-Star for the Bismarck Larks.
