HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for head coach Monte Jones at Murrieta Valley HS...Two-time All-Southwestern League second team selection, in 2013 and 2014...Named team MVP in 2014 and team Defensive Player of the Year in 2013...Hit .286 with a .446 on-base percentage and 15 RBIs in 2014....As starting catcher did not commit a single error in 24 games during senior season...Also played club baseball for three years with Trosky Baseball in Los Angeles.
