2023: Appeared in 54 of the team’s 59 games, making 49 starts in the outfield… Came on strong in the last month of the regular season to finish the year batting .281 with 36 runs, 52 hits, 12 doubles, 10 home runs, and 49 RBI… Finished the season batting .411 (23-for-56) over his final 13 games, raising his average 56 points in the process… Ended the year on a seven-game hitting streak, batting .419 (13-for-31) with seven runs scored, 13 RBI, a pair of home runs, and doubles in his final six games… Reached base safely in each of his final 14 games of the season… Collected 11 multi-hit games, including a pair of four-hit games against UT Rio Grande Valley (5/5) and Pacific (5/16)… His 13 multi-RBI games were tied for second on the team and including a trio of five-RBI performances against New Mexico State (4/30), UTRGV (5/5), and Utah Tech (5/19)… Had multiple RBI (12 total) in each of his final four games… Finished with home runs in three straight games against New Mexico State (4/30), Fresno State (5/2), and UTRGV (5/5)… Walked three times on two occasions against Nevada twice (3/2 and 4/25).
2022: Started 38 of his 39 appearances before missing the end of the season due to injury… Hit .297 with 36 runs scored, seven doubles, 13 home runs, and 38 RBI… Slugged .606 on the season and posted a .355 on-base percentage… In 20 Western Athletic Conference games, hit .329 with 21 runs, 25 hits, six home runs, and 19 RBI… Despite missing the end of the year due to injury, finished third on the team in average, led the team in slugging, runs scored, home runs, and RBI… His 13 home runs ranked in a tie for seventh in the WAC at the end of the season… Finished with 13 multi-hit games and drove in multiple runs five times… Finished 5-for-5 with three home runs, a triple, and 10 RBI against Houston Baptist (March 4), setting a school single-game record for runs batted in, tying the school single-game record with three home runs, and becoming the first Hornet to collect five hits in a game since Will Soto at New Mexico State on May 7, 2011… Collected a team-best 13 game hitting streak from March 11-April 2, scoring a run in eight straight during that run… Also finished 3-for-4 at Utah Valley (April 2)… Drove in six runs with a pair of home runs at New Mexico State (April 10), just one day after homering twice against the Aggies in game two of the series… Walked three times in the series opener against Grand Canyon (March 25).

2020-21: Played in nine games in his two seasons at Oregon State, starting four... Hit .111 (2-18) with a double and a home run in his two years with the Beavers... Had three RBI.
OKATOK BASEBALL ACADEMY
Played for the Okotok Dawgs Baseball Academy in Alberta, Canada... Played under head coach Allen Cox... Was ranked as the top prospect in Alberta by Prep Baseball Report and the No. 112 played in Northern American by PBR... Played for the Royals team at the 2018 Area Code Games... Drove in a run and walked seven times in six games at the T12 Toronto Blue Jays Tournament in 2018... The year prior, had six hits in five games at the T12 Tournament... Also played in 10 games at the T12 Tournament in 2016.

Parents are Maria Sanchez and Cesar Valero... Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and moved to Canada when he was 10 years old... One sister, Verona, and one brother, Gonzalo.
