REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2025): Appeared in two games as a reliever for the Gauchos… Did not allow a hit or a run in 1.2 innings of work, striking out a pair… Made his collegiate debut with a scoreless inning at Hawai’i (3/15)… Pitched one-third of an inning at UC Riverside (4/12), striking out the only batter he faced.

FRESHMAN (2024): Redshirted the season.

WOODLAND HS
Three-year letter winner for the Patriots as a shortstop and a pitcher… Helped his team to a pair of Golden Empire League titles as a sophomore and junior… Three-time all-league first team selection and two-time league MVP as a junior and senior… Hit .418 as a junior while also posting a 1.71 ERA on the mound…. Finished his prep career hitting .381 with a 0.65 ERA with four shutouts as a senior — including a perfect game and a no-hitter — helping the Patriots to a runner-up section finish… Set the school record with 106 strikeouts as a senior en route to all-state honors… Was also an all-league selection for the Patriots’ basketball team.

Parents are Mat and Kelly… Has a brother, Hunter, who was on the roster at Sacramento State in 2022 before going on to play at Butte College and is wrapping up his collegiate career as a senior at Cal State East Bay in 2026… Father and uncle, Danny, played baseball at Santa Barbara City College
