2022: Appeared in only five games due to injury, finishing the year 1-0 with three strikeouts in six innings… Earned his lone win of the season on Feb. 27 at nationally ranked Long Beach State, throwing two shutout innings against The Beach in a 5-4 Hornet victory… Struck out a season-high two at Seattle U on March 18.

2021:Ā Western Athletic Conference All-Academic Team (4x)...Appeared in 21 games for Sacramento State, including 17 as a reliever and four as a starter...Was 8-2 with a 3.88 ERA...His eight wins led the team, were a career-high, and ranked second in the WAC...Once again one of Sacramento State's go to relievers and pitchers in general, threw 51.0 innings, third most on the team and most among the non-regular starters...Struck out a career-high 44 batters while walking just 14...As a reliever, threw a season-high 4.0 innings...Threw multiple innings in 12 of his 17 relief appearances...As a starter, tossed a season and career-high 5.2 innings at Cal Baptist on May 7...Threw 5.0+ innings in three of his four starts, including back-to-back starts in which he allowed just one run over 10 innings of work...Did not allow a run in 12 of his 21 total appearances...Struck out a season and career-high five batters on April 11 against New Mexico State, his first start of the year...Struck out four or more on five separate occasions...The Hornets were 16-5 in games in which Rodriguez pitched...Defensively, was perfect, converting on all 17 of his total chances (four putouts, 13 assists).
