Career Notes: Drafted in the 8th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates...Ranks 9th all-time with 70 career appearances and 10th all-time with 183 career strikeouts.

JUNIOR (2019): Pitched in 22 games for Sacramento State, splitting time as a starter and a reliever...Made nine starts and 13 appearances in relief...Was 5-4 with a team-leading six saves and a 3.18 ERA...Had 84 strikeouts over 73.2 innings of work...Walked 30 and allowed 64 hits for a 1.28 WHIP...Posted a career-best 10.26 K/9, strikeing out 84 in 73.2 innings...His 10.26 was best on the Hornets among qualifiers and ranked third in the WAC...Ranked among the top 10 in the WAC in 15 total categories, including ERA (3.18, 6th), Opponents Batting Average (.230, 5th), and Saves (6, T-3rd)...Struck out a career-high 13 in his season deubt throwing seven innings of one run ball against North Dakota State...The 13 strikeouts are tied for the second highest total in a single game in program history...Also struck out 10 in a six-inning outing on the road at Chicago State...Appeared in four of Sacramento State's seven WAC Tournament games, once as a starter and three times in relief...Posted a 2.25 ERA in those four games and recorded a save in each of his three relief outings...Picked up his fifth and final win of the season with three innings of one-run ball to close out the game in Sacramento State's 6-4 elimination win over #19 UC Santa Barbara in the NCAA Stanford Regional...Posted a 1.000 fielding percentage (12 chances) with five putouts and seven assists.

SOPHOMORE (2018): All-WAC First Team...Pitched in 29 games, second most on the team, while also making one start...His 29 appearances ranked T-10th in a single season in program history...Were third most in the WAC and ranked 62nd in NCAA Div. I...Was 4-2 with two saves and a team-best 1.83 ERA...Had 55 strikeouts and 13 walks over 54.0 innings of work, good for a 9.17 K/9 and a 4.23 K:BB ratio...Was dominant in WAC-only play, going 3-1 with an 0.70 ERA and a .167 batting average against...Struck out 36 while walking just three in 25.2 innings...His 12 WAC appearances were tied for most on the team...Pitched five innings in relief on April 15 against Northern Colorado, allowing just one hit while striking out a season-high seven...Made his only start of the season against Seattle U in the WAC Tournament, throwing seven innings and allowing just three runs to help Sacramento State advance to the championship game...Did not allow a hit in 11 of his 29 outings...Did not allow a walk in 19 of his 20 outings...Struck out at least two 15 times...Did not allow a home run in the regular season...Had two putouts and six assists and did not commit an error. 

FRESHMAN (2017): Pitched in 19 games with 14 starts...Was 4-1 with a 4.95 ERA...Had 44 strikeouts and 40 walks with a .258 opposing batting average over 63.2 innings...Team was 10-4 in his 14 starts...Held left-handed batters to 18-of-89 (.202) hitting...Became the team's Sunday starter and was 1-0 with a 3.65 ERA in WAC play...Pitched the Hornets into the WAC championship game allowing just one run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 6.0 innings in a win over Northern Colorado...Allowed just one hit in two scoreless innings of relief against BYU in the NCAA Regionals...In five total relief appearances allowed just one run and had five strikeouts over 6.0 innings...Had a season-high six strikeouts in 4.0 innings pitched in his first collegiate start against Washington State...Recorded multiple strikeouts in 11 games...Allowed one earned run or fewer in nine appearances...Had a .219 opposing batting average with two outs...Led the team with three pick-offs and had five base runners caught stealing in 16 attempts against...Had 10 assists and one error defensively. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Clint Brill at River City HS...Named Tri-County Conference MVP as a junior...All-conference first team as a senior and second team as a sophomore...Sacramento Bee all-Metro league honorable mention in 2015...Was 5-2 with a 1.56 ERA as a junior with 62 strikeouts and just 19 walks over 49.1 innings...Had a 5-3 record with a 2.28 ERA as a senior and had a 2.11 ERA as a sophomore...Totaled 65 strikeouts and only 17 walks in 46 innings pitched during senior season...Had seven complete games over this junior and senior seasons...Also played first base and third base and hit .415 with 25 RBIs as a junior and .410 with 19 RBIs as a senior...Also played high school basketball
