Was a pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder for the Spartans… Earned All-Desert 5A Region first team honors as a pitcher and second-team laurels as a first baseman as a sophomore… Second-team all-region honoree as a pitcher in his junior year… Hit .375 in 29 games as a senior, scoring 26 runs and driving in 26… Also slugged 12 doubles and hit four home runs… Scored 25 runs, drove in 19, and hit .278 as a junior in 32 game… Rated No. 19 overall and the No. 6 right-handed pitcher in the state of Nevada according to Perfect Game… Also played football and basketball in his prep career.
