HIGH SCHOOL: Player four years for head coach John Bussard at Ceres HS...Named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) MVP in 2014...Made the All-District team and All-State second team in 2014...Named team MVP in 2012 and 2014...Led team to the 2014 WAC co-championship with an 11-1 record...Went 8-0 with a 1.59 ERA as a senior, totaling 54 strikeouts and walking just nine in 57.1 innings pitched...Also played shortstop and hit .486 with a .594 on-base percentage and 26 RBIs during the 2014 season.
