REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2012): Appeared in 15 games while making seven starts...went 2-3 with an 8.44 ERA in 37.1 innings and 28 strikeouts...started both of the Hornets' midweek games against rival UC Davis...best start of the season came at home against the Aggies on April 11 when he went five innings, allowing just one run on two hits with five strikeouts and one walk...his last six appearances of the season were all in relief and he allowed five runs over 8.1 innings in that stretch (5.55 ERA).
FRESHMAN (2011): Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of baseball for head coach Dan Crabtree at Gridley HS of the Butte View League...named first team all-conference, first team all-area and first team all-section as a sophomore, junior and senior...threw a three-hit shutout and went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in his first varsity game as a sophomore...named 2010 Gridley HS Scholar-Athlete of the Year...also played basketball and competed as a jumper in track...posted 39 points and 10 rebounds against Las Plumas as a senior.
