2017 Season: Appeared in six games, starting each at tight end…opened the year as a the starter in the first five games before injuring his ankle at Eastern Washington…returned for the final game of the season against UC Davis…had four receptions for 98 yards during the year…the bulk of those numbers came in the win over Southern Utah where he had three catches for 78 yards, including a 40-yard reception…added a 20-yard catch at EWU…was credited with two tackles…earned Big Sky all-academic honors.

2016 Season: Appeared in all 11 games, starting five at tight end…caught three passes during the season for 44 yards…had two grabs for 35 yards against North Dakota…longest reception for 29 yards against UND.

2015 Season: Played in the first five games of the season before a shoulder injury ended his season…had four catches for 60 yards and a TD against Northern Colorado…hauled in a 2-yard TD catch in the first quarter and also had a career long 40-yard reception in the third quarter…caught at least one pass in each of his five games and averaged 12.9 yards per reception.

2014 Season: Played in seven games during the season at tight end…did not catch a pass during the season…made one tackle at Montana.

2013 Season: Played in the first three games of the year before breaking his clavicle which forced him to miss the remainder of the season…caught a pass at San Jose State for 12 yards for his first career reception…also had a 4-yard grab against Southern Oregon.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Placer HS in Auburn, Calif…named second team all-metro by the Sacramento Bee and was a first team all-Pioneer Valley League selection as a senior…played tight end and defensive end for the Hillman and helped the team to an 11-1 overall record…caught 10 passes for 256 yards and five touchdowns…tallied 55 tackles on defense with six sacks and 11 tackles-for-loss…also had an interception, seven pass deflections and forced two fumbles.

Personal: Earned his degree in communication studies and is currently pursuing his master's in criminal justice… parents are Troy and Gina Sander.
