Biography

2017 Season: Named second team all-Big Sky Conference…started all 11 games during the season at guard and ended his career with 33 consecutive starts…helped the Hornets average 225.8 yards per game — their most since 1999 — and allow just 16 sacks during the year.

2016 Season: Named honorable mention all-Big Sky…started all 11 games at center…helped anchor an offensive line which paved the way for 171.8 rushing yards per game.

2015 Season: Started all 11 games at right guard…also played on special teams.

2014 Season: Saw action in the first two games of the year as a reserve lineman before an injury kept him off the field…returned to play on special teams in the final three games of the season.

2013 Season: Redshirted during the season.

High School: A 2013 graduate of South Hills HS in West Covina, Calif…named Southern Section all-Inland Division as a senior on the offensive line…was voted to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune all-area team…earned first team all-Sierra League honors in 2011…team earned a bid to the Southern Section playoffs his senior season…was the 2012 Sierra League heavyweight champion in wrestling…also threw the discus and shot put for the track and field team.

Personal: Majoring in sociology…parents are David Aiono and Darlene Stowers…is one of six children.
