2023 Season
Played in 23 matches, including 73 sets…dealt with injuries throughout the season…finished with averages of 0.95 kills and 0.66 blocks per set…season-high 10 kills came against Clemson…also hit .500 in that match…in her final two matches of the season, she had five kills, four blocks and a .455 hitting percentage in the regular season finale at Montana, and posted five kills, three blocks and a .400 hitting percentage in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinal win vs. Idaho State…season-high seven blocks came at home vs. Idaho…a Big Sky all-academic selection.
2022 Season
Played in three matches, including three starts on the right side…missed the final 27 matches with injury…hit better than .300 in all three of those matches and was playing at a high level before the injury…averaged 2.31 kills and 0.85 blocks per set to go along with a .333 hitting percentage…had 11 kills vs. Middle Tennessee, 10 kills vs. Portland, and nine kills vs. Nevada.
2021 Season
Started all 13 matches she appeared…each of those starts came at rightside hitter…dealt with injuries that forced her to miss time at the beginning of the season, and towards the end of the year…played in 48 sets…averaged 1.48 kills, 0.81 blocks and 1.94 points per set…career-high 12 kills came at Idaho State…also had 10 kills and six blocks at Idaho…career-high .500 hitting percentage (8-1-14) at Eastern Washington…career-best seven blocks vs. Pacific…had at least three blocks on seven occasions.
2021 Spring Season
Played in all 17 matches, including five starts at rightside hitter…averaged 1.31 kills, 0.81 blocks and 1.74 points per set…season high of 11 kills came at home vs. Eastern Washington…posted a season-best six blocks at Weber State…had at least three blocks in a match on nine occasions…posted at least five kills eight times…had season totals of 71 kills and 44 blocks…a Big Sky all-academic selection.
2019 Season
Played in eight matches as a true freshman…missed the final 20 matches of the season with injury…each of those appearances for Soderberg came at rightside hitter…had kills against Nevada, Canisius and Alabama State…played in eight of the Hornets’ first 12 matches of the season.
High School
A 2019 graduate of Centennial Collegiate High School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan…played four years of volleyball, basketball and soccer, and ran two seasons of track…in volleyball, she played four years on the varsity team (Senior Team)…can touch over 10 feet…named team MVP each of her final three seasons with the volleyball squad, and was the Rookie of the Year as a freshman…as a senior, she was the team captain and averaged 4.80 kills and 2.20 digs per set while hitting .360…competed for Team Sask, representing Saskatchewan at major sporting events across Canada…that included competing at the Canada Cup for Team Sask for three years…was also the team captain of the basketball team as a senior…in track, she ran sprints and long distance as well as high jump, long jump and shot put.
Personal
Daughter of Russ and Jacky Soderberg…a kinesiology major who will graduate in the spring of 2024…her 3.90 GPA (as of fall 2023) is one of the highest in the Athletics Department…played four years of club volleyball for the Huskie Volleyball Club, and two years for the Saskatoon Smash Volleyball Club.
