Sacramento State

2014 Season: Played in all 12 games, starting nine at defensive tackle…finished the season with 24 total tackles, including 10 solos…had 2.5 tackles-for-loss and two quarterback hurries…was credited with five tackles at Cal and had four against Montana State for his season highs.

Prior to Sacramento State: Spent three seasons at UCLA…after redshirting in 2011, he played in five games in 2012 for the Bruins where he was credited with three tackles as a defensive lineman…had tackles against Rice, Colorado and Stanford.

High School: Graduated from Claremont HS in 2011…was a three-star recruit from Rivals and Scout, rated among the top 100 players in the state and was the 52nd ranked defensive tackle in the country…was first team all-Inland Valley and all-Sierra League as a senior…recorded 63 tackles, including four sacks as a senior…made 41 tackles with two sacks as a junior…also competed in track and field.

Personal: Majoring in history…parents are Tumusa and Tofoipupu Tauliaupupu…is the youngest of six children…his uncle, Jesse Sapolu, played 13 seasons in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers.
