Sacramento State

2014 Season: Played in all 12 games, starting 11 at defensive end…served as a team co-captain…led the team with 11.5 tackles-for-loss and 6.5 sacks…had 10 tackles against Montana State for his career high…had three TFLs in the win over Menlo and two sacks in the victory against Southern Utah…led the team with 10 quarterback hurries and also had a pass breakup…recovered a fumble at Incarnate Word…had at least one tackle in 11 of the 12 games and had five or more in six contests…also saw some time at fullback in short yardage situations.

2013 Season: Played in all 12 games, starting seven on the defensive line…played both defensive end and tackle during the season…finished the year with 33 tackles…had 6.5 TFLs and a sack…had a tackle in all 12 games…season high was five stops against UC Davis…had four tackles against Southern Oregon, Northern Arizona and Cal Poly…credited with 1.5 TFLs against Montana and had a 2-yard sack against Southern Oregon.

2012 Season: Appeared in 10 games, starting four, during his first season with the team...tallied 28 total tackles with eight solos...had seven tackles against Cal Poly for his season high...tallied six stops at UC Davis and five against Montana State giving him 18 tackles over the final three games of the year...recorded sacks against Eastern Washington and UC Davis...had five tackles-for-loss for 20 yards...each of those TFLs came in the last four games.

Prior to Sacramento State: Played one season at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif…earned all-North Division Valley Conference honors…totaled 35 tackles, including seven for loss…also had two interceptions and forced a fumble…biggest game came against Fresno City where he had 10 tackles, returned an interception 40 yards and forced a fumble.

High School: Graduated from Exeter Union HS in 2010…played varsity football, basketball and baseball…as a senior, he was named second team all-state, all-county and all-Central Sequoia League honors…helped lead the team a share of the CSL title with a 9-2 record while starting at middle linebacker…finished the season with 167 tackles, including 13 sacks…on offense, he had 700 receiving yards and over 900 rushing yards that same season.

Personal: Majoring in sociology…married his wife, Katelyn, in the summer of 2013…parents are Darin Totty and Armastalia Speck.
