HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons for coach Pat Macfarlane at Tokay HS...Named to the all-area first team and all-Tri City Athletic League (TCAL) first team as a senior...Helped team go 24-7 and win the TCAL championship in 2014...Was 8-1 with a 0.82 ERA as a senior...Totaled 70 strikeouts and just 14 walks in 77 innings pitched with a .202 opposing batting average...Was the winning pitcher in two playoff games...Was 9-1 with a 0.84 ERA and .198 opposing batting average for his high school career.
