2020-21 Season
Played in 17 games during his first season with the Hornets…missed two games because of injury…averaged 4.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.4 blocks and 14.8 minutes per game…shot 52% (26-50) from the field, 36% (8-22) from the 3-point line and 64% (9-14) from the free throw line…28 of his 73 rebounds came on the offensive glass…averaged a team-best one rebounds every 3.4 minutes of action…had a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) vs. Fresno Pacific…scored in double figures three times, including 11 points in a win at Idaho State…had at least four rebounds in 11 games…his 4.3 rebounds per game were second most on the team…averaged 11.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per 40 minutes.

Prior to Sacramento State

Played two seasons (2018-20) at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wash., at power forward and center…as a sophomore, he helped lead the Red Devils to a 25-4 overall record, a 13-1 league mark, and a Northwest Athletic Conference (West Division) championship…named the NWAC’s Western Region MVP, first team all-league, and the league’s defensive player of the year after averaging 18.0 points, 14.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game…played in all 29 games, and shot 56% from the field, 42% from the 3-point line and 73% from the free throw line…led the conference in offensive (158) and defensive (271) rebounds, and the 429 total rebounds set the Lower Columbia College single-season record…posted double-figure rebounds in all but two games, and finished his sophomore season with 25 double-doubles in 29 games…Lower Columbia’s all-time leader with 713 career rebounds…as a freshman, he was named second team all-league and made the all-defensive team after averaging 14.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocked shots per game while shooting 54% from the field…posted 37 double-doubles (points, rebounds) during his two seasons with the Red Devils.

High School
A 2018 graduate of Skyview High School in Vancouver, Wash…played on the varsity team during his junior and senior seasons…as a senior, he was named the Clark County Today Statement Player of the Year, second team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-conference after leading Skyview to a 25-6 record and a sixth place finish at the state tournament (the highest in school history)…that season, he averaged 14.0 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots…set both the Skyview single-season (305) and single-game (21) records for rebounds…as a junior, he was named second team all-league.

Parents are Shireen and Augustus Hector…a criminal justice major…lived in multiple countries and states as a military child…speaks fluent Korean…can sing and play nine different instruments.
