Biography

2019-20 Season
Played in 25 games as a sophomore…all of his minutes came off the bench…averaged 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game…of his 58 field goal attempts, 46 came from beyond the 3-point line…shot 35% (16-46) from the 3-point line…the 3-pointers made were third most on the team…had a career-high 12 points on 4-for-6 shooting from distance in a home win over Cal Poly…played over 20 minutes on four occasions, including a season-best 27 at Montana…of his 39 rebounds, 13 came on the offensive glass…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the second straight season.

2018-19 Season
Played in all but four games as a true freshman…finished with averages of 1.7 points, 1.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 12.1 minutes per game…shot 36% (15-42) from the field, 31% (11-35) from the 3-point line and 71% (5-7) from the free throw line…season-high eight points on 3-for-4 shooting (2-3 3FG) at Montana State…had six points, two rebounds and a steal while playing a season-high 29 minutes in the Hornets’ game against Montana in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals…had seven points on 2-for-3 shooting from distance in a win at Northern Arizona…a Big Sky all-academic selection.

High School

A 2018 graduate of Clark High School in Las Vegas…played four years of varsity basketball for the Chargers…a second team all-state choice as a senior as well as a two-time all-region and three-time all-conference selection during his prep career, Bridges helped Clark to a four-year combined record of 98-24 overall and 48-4 in league…that includes a pair of state championships during his freshman and sophomore seasons, a state runner-up finish as a junior and a regional final finish during his senior year…primarily played at shooting guard for the Chargers, coming off the bench as the team’s sixth man as a freshman followed by starting three consecutive years…was a two-time team captain, two-time team MVP, and finished his career with over 1,000 points…named team MVP as a senior despite playing on a loaded roster that featured six players that signed with a Div. I program…also named second team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-league as a senior after averaging 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocked shots per game…shot 40% (65-163) from the 3-point line and 71% (32-45) from the free throw line…averaged double-figure points each of his final two seasons, including 12.0 points as a junior, after averaging 8.9 ppg as a sophomore and 4.7 ppg as a freshman…during his junior season, he was team captain, team MVP, honorable mention all-state and second team all-league.

Personal
A political scince major…son of James and Katy Bridges…graduated as valedictorian of his class at Clark High School…finished with a 4.8 grade point average…was a three-time academic all-state selection, and never received a grade lower than a B+ during his scholastic career…played AAU basketball for the Las Vegas Knicks, and averaged 16.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in 2017.
