2019 Season

  • Named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year and first team all-conference.
  • Earned first team FCS All-America honors from HERO Sports, second team from Phil Steele and was a third team selection by Associated Press and STATS Perform.
  • Was selected as Team MVP by the coaches, players and staff.
  • Tied for third in Walter Payton Award voting which goes to the top offensive player in the FCS.
  • Started all 12 games in which he appeared at quarterback.
  • Completed 265-of-450 pass attempts for 3,216 yards and 27 touchdowns.
  • Finished the season ranked second in school history in single-season pass attempts and yards, tied for second in passing touchdowns, third in completions, passing touchdowns and yards per game (268.0), and ninth in completion percentage (58.9).
  • Also rushed for 619 yards and led the team with 12 rushing touchdowns.

2018 Season

  • Started all seven games in which he appeared.
  • Completed 79-of-145 passes for 1,380 yards and eight touchdowns with only one interception.
  • Averaged 9.52 yards per pass which ranks second in school history, trailing his own record from a season prior.
  • His efficiency rating of 151.3 was the third best all-time by a Hornet.
  • Also rushed for 134 yards on 51 carries.
  • Threw a TD pass six games in six of his seven games. The only exception was at Southern Utah where he was knocked out of the game in the fist quarter.
  • Had multiple TD passes against Saint Francis and Cal Poly.
  • Passed for 322 yards against Mustangs for his season high.
  • Had 18 passes and one rush of at least 25 yards during the season.
  • Led the team with 1,514 yards of total offense and an average of 216.3 yards per game.
  • Earned Big Sky all-academic honors.

2017 Season

  • Started eight games at quarterback during his first season with the team.
  • Set the Sacramento State single-season record with a quarterback efficiency of 171.80 and an average of 9.14 yards of total offense per play.
  • Completed 97-of-175 passes for 1,828 yards and 17 touchdowns with just three interceptions.
  • Averaged 10.45 yards per pass to set the school record.
  • Threw for a career high 320 yards and five touchdowns against Incarnate Word and had five games with a least 250 passing yards.
  • Tossed multiple touchdowns in five games, including three or more in four contests.
  • Also rushed for 494 yards and a team-high nine touchdowns.
  • The nine rushing scores were the most by a Hornet quarterback since Ricky Ray had 10 in 2000.
  • Rushed for four scores and 149 yards in the win over Southern Utah.
  • The four rushing TDs rank second in school history regardless of position and the yardage was the most by a Hornet QB.
  • Also rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns at Eastern Washington.
  • Averaged 6.25 yards per carry.
  • Earned Big Sky all-academic honors.

Prior to Sacramento State

  • Redshirted at UNLV in 2014 and was a reserve quarterback in 2015 before transferring at the end of the year.

High School

  • A 2014 graduate from Riverside HS in Auburn, Wash.
  • Played three varsity seasons where he was named the league’s offensive back of the year and earned first team all-league honors as a senior.
  • Named to the News Tribune All-Area team and was selected to play in the Washington All-Star Game.
  • As a senior, he had 2,132 yards of total offense with 24 touchdowns while helping guide the team to a share of the league title.

Personal

  • Graduated in May 2019 with a degree in communication studies and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
