SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State head softball coach
Lori Perez announced that outfielder Berkleigh Tuck will transfer from California Baptist and join the Hornets in the fall.
Tuck will be a sophomore after spending one season at California Baptist, and becomes the seventh member of the 2026-27 Sacramento State recruiting class.
The other six are all freshmen.

• Played first collegiate season (2026) at California Baptist of the Western Athletic Conference
• Appeared in 24 games (15 starts) for a California Baptist squad that went 43-19 overall and 15-3 in league, won both the WAC regular season and tournament titles, and competed at NCAA Regionals
• Hit .286 as a true freshman (14-for-49), and did not commit an error in the outfield
• Went 4-for-4 with a hit-by-pitch in a 2-1 extra-inning victory over North Dakota State
• Gained the start and hit in the No. 6 spot in the Lancers' NCAA Regional opener at eighth-ranked UCLA
• Went 3-for-4 with two runs, her first collegiate home run and two RBIs in a 6-4 win vs. Weber State
• A 2025 graduate of Jesuit High School in Portland, Ore.
• Two-time all-state selection, including first team as a sophomore, and second team as a junior
• Also a three-time all-conference selection
• Played club ball for NW Bullets
• Father, Jeff, played two years of baseball at Oregon State. Sister, Reyan, played softball at New Mexico. Sister, Kailynn, played basketball at Whittier.
