SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State women's golf team will play its final event of the fall when it takes part in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational beginning on Monday. The three-day tournament will have a single round each day. The first round will have a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. PT with the team paired with Eastern Michigan and Tulane.
 
The Hornets will be competing in the tournament for the 13^th time since 2011. Sacramento State has claimed the tournament title three times with wins in 2013, 2016 and 2019. Julia Becker and Tess Blair were medalists in 2016 and 2019.
 
Most recently, the Hornets finished in 10^th place at the Evie Odom Invitational in Virginia Beach, Va. Sacramento State was led by Darla May Dela Torrey who had a pair of even par rounds and finished 5-over for the tournament. Tova Hatton owns a team-best scoring average of 73.22 and is closely followed by Sophia Lee at 73.89.
