TAJ GLOVER BECOMES SECOND HORNET TO SIGN DURING THE BIBBY ERA

SACRAMENTO -- Less than one week after being introduced as Sacramento State's new head coach, Mike Bibby signed his second recruit - freshman guard Taj Glover from Atlanta, Ga.

Glover joins senior forward Shaqir O'Neal - who signed with the team on Friday - as the two players to join forces with Bibby so far.

• A 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard from Atlanta, Ga.
• Transfer from South Florida of the American Athletic Conference
• Redshirted this past season (2024-25) in his lone year at South Florida, and will be a redshirt freshman at Sacramento State
• Son of Dion Glover, who played in the NBA for six seasons (1999-05)
• A 2024 graduate of Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, Ga.
• As a senior at Hebron Christian, he averaged 18.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game
• Shot 47% (143-307) from the field as a guard, and was named both all-region and all-county
• Helped lead the Lions to a 25-4 overall record (most wins in program history), a conference championship, and an Elite 8 appearance at the state playoffs
• That Elite 8 appearance was the first ever for Hebron Christian
• Notched his 1,000th career point with a 24-point evening in an 80-55 win over Franklin
• A member of the school's honor roll all four years
