SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento State head coach
David Patrick announced today that Australian guard Lachlan Brewer has signed to play with the Hornets, and will enroll at the University as a freshman in the fall.
Brewer, a native of Tasmania, Australia, has played professionally in Australia and has played on the country's junior national team on multiple occasions.

• A 6-foot-5, 185-pound guard from Tasmania, Australia
• Won a gold medal with Australia at the FIBA U16 Asian Championships in 2022
• Also played for Australia at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Span (2022), where they placed sixth
• Won a bronze medal with Tasmania at the U18 Australian National Championships
• Earlier this year, while playing for Tasmania at the U20 Australian National Championships, he averaged 20.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game
• Also played for Northwest Tasmania of the Australian NBL1 South League
• Named the Sportsperson of the Year during his junior and senior years of high school
