Tim Chon joined the Sacramento State staff as the assistant director of operations in the summer of 2026. Chon will help with team travel, meals, practice planning and other day-to-day activities of the program.
Chon was the assistant receivers coach at Sterling College in Kansas during the 2025 season. In that capacity, he supported the coaching staff with drills, route mechanics and film breakdown. Chon also aided with practice setup, SkyCoach operations and sideline iPad management. He also led campus tours during official visits and promoted the school's relationship with Influxer.
Chon graduated from Sterling College in 2025 with a degree in pre-athletic training. He also played two years of football for the school. He previously played at Sierra JC and Sacramento City JC.
