Sacramento State

Robby Yant was named the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations at Sacramento State in February of 2023. In his role, Yant will serve as an event manager at home Hornet athletic events as well as managing staff, and assisting with capital projects.

Prior to coming to Sacramento, Yant was an Assistant Events Manager at CSUN from 2020-23. In that capacity, he  planned and executed of all Division I athletic events as well as managing all of CSUN's game day staff. 

Before joining CSUN Athletics, Yant served as an event manager at Stanford  as well as the game day assistant for event and facilities management at Santa Clara University, all while pursuing his Master's from the University of San Francisco. He also spent 11 seasons working for the San Francisco Giants in the guest services department and the last three were as a supervisor.

The San Francisco, Calif. native attended Saint Mary’s College, earning his bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2014. He also earned his master's degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco in 2019.
