Pamm Zierfuss-Hubbard is in her third year as Sacramento State’s Senior Associate Athletics Director/Athletics Chief of Staff. In addition, she serves as the department’s Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
 
• A Sacramento native, and a 1994 graduate of Sacramento State
• Has over 18 years of higher education experience
• Has been an administrator at 4-year and 2-year institutions
• Has nearly 15 years of experience at NCAA Div. I and Div. II levels
• First Associate Athletics Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Big Sky Conference
• Will serve as Sacramento State’s Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (ADID) for the NCAA
• Athletics Director at two institutions (Clovis Community College, Fresno City College) and SWA at one institution (University of Alaska Fairbanks)
• Second stint at Sacramento State (Assistant Director of Compliance in 2005-06)
• Got her start in collegiate athletics at Sacramento State in 2005
 
Zierfuss-Hubbard comes to Sacramento State from Clovis Community College where she was the Director of Athletics and Interim Dean of Instruction since 2020. She was appointed interim dean within six months of her initial hire, and also volunteered in the community where she was a part of Leadership Fresno.
 
Prior to Clovis, Zierfuss-Hubbard was the Director of Athletics at Fresno City College from 2018-20 where she was responsible for 21 sports, 72 coaches and 450 student-athletes. She was also chair of the Equity and Inclusion committee with the California Community College Athletic Association.
 
Zierfuss-Hubbard spent 11 years at Alaska Fairbanks (2006-17) in various positions related to student-athlete success, fundraising, budget management, event management and community relations. She served as the Associate AD for Compliance/SWA for four years where she oversaw NCAA compliance efforts for the campus along with rifle, women’s basketball and swimming teams.
 
In addition to her on-campus work, Zierfuss-Hubbard was a member of the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics, Women Leaders in College Sports (formerly known as National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators) and multiple conference committees.
 
Zierfuss-Hubbard attended both Sacramento City College and Cosumnes River College before earning her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Sacramento State. She obtained her master’s degree in sport management from University of San Francisco (2006) and her MBA in general management from Alaska Fairbanks (2013).
 
Zierfuss-Hubbard and her husband, Nathan, reside in Sacramento.
