Andy Fiske

Andy Fiske was named Sacramento State’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs in February of 2022.
 
Fiske serves on the Athletic Department Senior Leadership team where he provides strategic leadership, planning and oversite of athletic revenue generation. His team is responsible for generating revenue to support scholarships, operational expenses and capital projects through philanthropic giving, corporate partnerships, and ticket sales.  Andy serves as the sports administrator for football, men’s basketball and women’s golf and oversees the marketing and community relations department.
 
A native of Sacramento, Fiske has over 20 years of sales, marketing and strategic planning experience in the sports and entertainment industry. He has worked at multiple levels, including collegiate athletics, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Minor League Baseball, ATP Tennis and more.
 
Before coming to Sacramento State, Fiske spent five years with Learfield as the general manager for UC Davis Sports Properties. With the Aggies, he grew revenue by over 80 percent, negotiated radio and television contracts, and developed and implemented fully integrated digital marketing campaigns.
 
Prior to his time at UC Davis Sports Properties, Fiske served as the Sacramento River Cats Vice President of Sales and Marketing where the team led all of minor league baseball in attendance during four of his five seasons with the club. Fiske also spent time with the Sacramento Republic (USL), San Jose Sharks (NHL) and the Oakland Athletics (MLB).

He graduated from Cal Poly with a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology.
 
Fiske, a graduate of Jesuit High School, resides in Sacramento with his wife Cathy, have two sons (Freddie and Calvin) and a daughter (Drew).
