Biography

JUNIOR (2020): Did not play (injury).

SOPHOMORE (2019): Finished 7-12 overall in 2019 with a 5-4 Big Sky record...Started the season at the No. 2 singles position, where she was 3-6, before moving into the No. 1 spot for the remainder of the season, going 4-6...In Big Sky only play, was 3-0 at No. 2 and 2-4 at No. 1...Won her first career singles match at No. 1 in convicing fashion, 6-2, 6-2, at home against Idaho State on March 23...Put togerher a season-best three-match win streak from Match 16 through March 23...In doubles play, finished 6-8 overall and an even 4-4 in Big Sky play..Bounced back and fourth between the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions, going 2-3 at No. 1 and 4-5 at No. 2...Won twice with Jenna Dorian (2-2) and four times with Sofi Wicker (4-6).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018): Went 9-14 overall and 5-6 in Big Sky competition in her first active season...Played at the No. 2, 3, and 4 positions this season, going 7-7 at No. 2, 2-6 at No. 3, and 0-1 at No. 4...Her 14 matches at the No. 2 position were most on the team...In Big Sky competition, played all 11 of her matches at either No. 2 or No. 3, going 4-4 at the two and 1-2 at the three...Finished the 2018 season with back-to-back wins and had back-to-back wins three times over the course of the season...won the clinching point in Sacramento State's 4-3 win over Eastern Washington at home...Won her first career match at Northern Colorado in the No. 3 position...Started the season with one match at the No. 4 position before playing the next eight at No. 3...finished the season with 14 straight matches as the No. 2...Went 3-17 in doubles play, including 0-9 in conference.

FRESHMAN (2016-17): Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Colegio San Patricio Cumbres in Monterrey, Mexico...A top-10 junior player in Mexico and was ranked No. 1 in the state of Chihuahua...Participated in several international junior tournaments to earn her top-10 ranking...Practiced with some of the top coaches in Mexico, including Fernando Ochoa and former top-250 WTA player Daniela Muñoz.

PERSONAL: Parents are Ulises Gonzalez and Claudia Campoya...Hopes to be an entrepreneur and run her own business...Majoring in business.
