Biography

JUNIOR (2020): Played in all 11 of Sacramento State's spring matches, all at the number one singles position...Was one of three players to see action in all 11 of the team's matches...Finished with a 2-9 overall record, but was close in nearly all of her number one matchups against a talented non-conference slate...Was 1-0 in Big Sky singles action, defeating Northern Colorado's No. 1 in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1...Other singles win came in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, against Nevada...Played in 10 of the team's 11 doubles matches, playing at the No. 1 doubles position in all 10...Finished 1-7 in doubles play with three different partners...Her doubles win came partner Grace Dodd against Nevada on Feb. 28.

SOPHOMORE (2019): Second Team All-Big Sky...After a great freshmen season, Dorian took another step forward, leading the team in singles wins, going 14-5 overall and an incredible 9-1 in Big Sky play...Played at the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 singles positions over the course of the season...Posted winning records at all three...2-1 (No. 2), 3-1 (No. 3), 9-3 (No. 4)...Her .750 winning percentage at the No. 4 position was fourth best in the Big Sky...Her 5-0 league record at No. 4 was best in the conference...14 total wins were most on the team, as were her nine conference singles wins...Won nine straight matches from March 16 through April 4...Lost back-to-back matches just once all season, the first two matches of the year...In doubles play, was 7-10, her seven doubles wins also most on the team...Played doubles only at the No. 1 and 2 positions, going 3-5 at No. 1 and 4-5 at No. 2.

FRESHMAN (2018): Went 11-10 overall and 9-2 in the Big Sky at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles...Posted a winning record at both No. 4, going 4-3, and No. 6, going 1-0...was 6-7 at the No. 5 position...Her 11 overall singles wins were second most on the team...Her nine wins in Big Sky singles play were tied for most on the team...After starting the season 3-7 over her first 10 matches, finished the year going 8-3 over her last 11 matches (plus two unfinished)...Won seven straight Big Sky singles matches during that stretch, including six in straight sets...Won her first career match in the No. 5 position at North Dakota...In doubles play, was 3-17 overall, including 2-5 in Big Sky play...played with six different partners over the course of the season: Ugarkovic (0-1), Gonzalez (1-6), Gulnova (0-2), Wicker (0-1), Loaiza Esquivias (1-2), and Chernyetsky (1-2)...Started the season in the No. 3 doubles position before moving up to No. 2...Played at the No. 1 doubles position in her final three matches...was named the team's Most Impvoved Player (team award). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Novato High School in Novato, Calif....Her senior year, went undefeated in league (13-0) and won the MCAL (Marin County Athletic League) singles title in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2...She advanced to the North Coast Sectionals, ultimately finishing third...For her perfect league season, Dorian was named the MCAL girl's tennis player of the year for the '16-17 season...Dorian was named to the MCAL All-League Team in each of her four years at Novato HS...was player of the year as a senior, first team MCAL as a junior and sophomore, and second team MCAL as a freshman...Dorian's team was named the North Coast Section's Distinguished Scholastic Team in '14-15, achieving a 3.4 overall team GPA.

PERSONAL: Parents are Mark and Brenda Dorian...Her high school's mascot is also a Hornet...Wants to get into real estate after college...Major is undeclared.
