SOPHOMORE (2021): Second Team All-Big Sky...Two-time Player of the Week 3/9, 4/27...Played in 13 of Sacramento State's 15 matches in 2021...Competed in 13 singles matches and 11 doubles contests throughout the year...Finished with a team-best 6-7 singles record while going 3-9 in doubles play...Was 2-1 in both singles and doubles in Big Sky play...Her six singles wins were most on the team while her three doubles victories were tied for second most...In singles competition, played 11 of her 13 matches at the number one singles position where she finsihed with a winning record at 6-5...Was 0-2 at numer two...Her biggest win of the season was a thrilling, 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 come from behind win against the nation's 70th ranked singles player on the road at Pacific...Finished the season with back-to-back wins at number one against Big Sky opponents, at Idaho State and at Weber State...In doubles play, Finished 3-8 overall and 2-1 in Big Sky...Played exclusively with partner Megan Tagaloa...The pair was 3-7 at number one doubles.
SOPHOMORE (2020): Played in nine of the team's 11 spring matches, starting six at the number two singles position and three at number three...Finished with a 2-7 overall singles record, her wins coming in the season opener at Drake (6-2, 6-4 at No. 2) and at home against Pacific (6-4, 6-2 at No. 3)...Had thre incredible close losses in three sets at San Jose State, vs. San Francisco, and at Cal Poly...In doubles play, appeared in seven matches...Was 0-2 at the No. 1 doubles spot, 1-1 at No. 2, and 2-1 at No. 3...Played with three different doubles partners in her seven doubles matches.
FRESHMAN (2019): Honorable Mention All-Big Sky...Finished with an 11-7 overall record in her debut season with the Hornets, including a 6-3 record in league play...As a true freshman, played twice at the No. 1 singles position, going 1-1...Also posted winning recoreds at the Nos. 2 and 3 singles positions...Posted a .667 percentage (6-3) at the No. 3 position while finishing with a .571 percentage (4-3) at the No. 2 spot...Both of those ranked among the top five in the Big Sky, ranking 3rd and 5th, respectively...In doubles play, finished with a 3-14 overall record, spending time at all three doubles positions...Was 3-5 in conference doubles play, winning twice with Jenna Dorian and again with Frana Ugarkovic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Is a two-time Indoor Provinicial Champion, claiming the singles title in both 2018 and 2017...Also in 2017, she was the singles champ at the Outdoor Provincial Championships...In 2016, she took home the Outdoor Provincial Championship title in doubles play...Her high school - Heritage Woods Secondary - is the two-time defending AAA Provincial Champion (2016-17)...Played with her sister, Alex, and the pair is the two-time defending Girls Doubles AAA Provincial Champs (2016-17)...Was the 2015 Girls Singles AAA Provincial champion her freshman year...In addition to an accomplished tennis career, Jayden is also a four-year soccer and basketball athlete.
