SOPHOMORE (2024-25): Helped Sacramento State to its second-straight Big Sky Conference Tournament title and a runner-up finish during the regular season… Led the team with an 18-3 overall record and a 7-1 mark in Big Sky Conference play in singles… Played mainly at the No. 5 spot in the lineup, finishing with a 12-2 record at that spot, while finishing 3-1 at No. 4 and 3-0 at No. 5… The 12 wins at the No. 5 spot are tied for the second-most at that spot in the lineup in the program’s Division I history… Opened the year with six wins in her first seven singles contests (one unfinished) — all in straight sets — before suffering her first defeat against nationally ranked Cal Poly in three sets… Followed that up with a seven-match winning streak from March 6-30 and then won five of her last six with two more going unfinished… Ranked second on the team with four match-clinching points against Dominican, Cal State Fullerton, Seattle U, and the Big Sky semifinal win over Idaho… Finished the year 2-0 in doubles with wins over Dominican and Saint Mary’s, clinching the doubles point in both contests… In the fall, finished 1-1 in singles at the Cal Poly Fall Tournament.
FRESHMAN (2023-24): Helped Sacramento State to its first Big Sky Conference regular season and tournament titles since 2012… Recovered from an early-season injury to post an 8-7 record in singles play, competing anywhere from the No. 2 to No. 5 spots in the lineup… Spent most of the year as the team’s No. 4 player, finishing 4-6 at that spot in the lineup on the year… Was also unbeaten at the No. 3 position, going 3-0… Ended the year with a 4-2 record against Big Sky opponents... Won four straight duals at one point in the year from March 16 to March 28… Did not play doubles.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Born in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania, before moving to France at the age of nine... A veteran at numerous levels in France, she reached the finals of an International Tennis Federation G5 event in Blagnac in October of 2021 and gained the quarterfinals of another G5 event in Colomiers in March of 2022... Before that she has posted tournament victories at six different events; ASCH Montpellier, Pierre Rouge Tournament in Monpellier, Beziers, the La Grande Motte Tournament, and Lunel, with the last coming as recently as February of this 2023 at Istres.
