Biography

2021 Season
Played in 33 games, including 18 starts…made 12 starts in center field, and six in right field…had 42 at-bats with 10 runs scored, five RBIs, nine walks and a .364 on-base percentage…was 4-for-4 in stolen base opportunities…drew at least one walk in eight games…first career home run came on April 9, a two-run shot vs. Weber State…was also 2-for-3 with a pair of runs in a 6-0 win vs. UC Davis…scored a pair of runs in an 8-0 win over Saint Mary’s.

2020 Season
Played in 24 games as a freshman during a shortened season, including 21 starts…all 21 of those starts came in right field…had nine hits in 52 at-bats, including three doubles and eight RBIs…stole two bases and did not commit an error in the outfield all season…showcased a cannon arm throughout the year, and easily led all Hornet outfielders with six assists…had a five-game hitting streak from Feb. 14-22…had two RBIs against Seton Hall, Bradley and Utah State.

High School

A 2019 graduate of Everett Alvarez High School in Salinas, Calif…played four years of varsity softball for the Eagles…also ran track and field for one season…was a starting outfielder all four years…an all-league selection every season of her career…helped the Eagles to a four-year combined record of 74-32 overall and 41-9 in league…the team finished first or second all four years, including a Monterey Bay - Pacific League co-championship in 2018 when the team finished 19-8 overall and 10-2 in league…as a junior, she led all Monterey Bay leagues with 41 hits and ranked third with 30 RBIs…that season, she hit .644 with seven home runs, 15 multiple-hit games, a .682 on-base percentage, a 1.205 slugging percentage and a 1.887 ops…competed one season of track and field (2016), where she posted the eighth fastest 100-meter time in school history.

Personal
Parents are Omar and Branda…an undeclared major…played club ball for the California Suncats, coached by James Jimenez…five of her teammates from the Suncats signed with collegiate teams to play Div. I softball.
