Biography

As a senior (2017): Competed with the varsity eight in each of the boat’s first eight races of the spring, but missed the final three races because of injury…had never missed a race during her four-year career…did not compete at the WIRA Championship or American Athletic Conference Championship…sat in the four seat on six occasions, and twice in the six seat…helped the varsity eight to first place finishes at the Sacramento State Invitational and Hornet Invitational…would have received CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors for the third straight year, but did not compete in enough races to be eligible for the award due to the injury…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection.

As a junior (2016):
Did not miss a race for the third straight season…competed with the varsity eight in all 11 of the boat’s spring races…sat in the six seat on nine occasions and twice in the four seat…sat at four with the Hornets’ top boat at the American Athletic Conference Championship…sat in the six seat when the varsity eight won bronze at the WIRA Championship…competed with the varsity eight this season after spending her sophomore year in the second varsity eight, and the year before with the novice eight…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the second straight year, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

As a sophomore (2015):
Did not miss a race during the spring season…primarily competed with the second varsity eight, racing nine times with the boat (six times at bow, three times in the four seat)…sat at bow with the varsity eight in two races at the WIRA Championship…sat in the four seat with the second varsity eight that won bronze at the American Athletic Conference Championship…one of four Hornet rowers to receive CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors.

As a freshman (2014):
Raced with four different boats during the spring…sat with the novice eight on seven occasions, including the stroke seat on four occasions and the two seat three times…sat in the two seat with the second varsity four once, and stroked the second varsity four and novice four on one occasion…named to Conference USA’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Personal: A liberal studies major.
