Biography
As a senior (2026)
• Competed with the varsity eight in all 12 spring races in the four seat
• Part of a Hornet V8 that won WCC Crew of the Week honors three times
• Sat at four with the V8’s Cal Cup gold medal at the San Diego Crew Classic - just the second Cal Cup gold in program history
• The Hornets’ varsity eight posted two wins over Gonzaga and Wisconsin, and a win over Kansas State
• Brooks never missed a race during her four-year career (42 consecutive races)
• A WCC all-academic selection
• A CRCA Scholar-Athlete selection
As a junior (2025)
• Competed with the varsity eight in every spring race
• Sat in the two seat with the V8 in all 10 of those races
• Helped the V8 to a WIRA Championship gold medal, a Sacramento State Invitational gold medal, and a win over Kansas State at the Hornet Invitational
• The V8 finished fourth at the WCC Championship
• A CRCA Scholar-Athlete selection
• A WCC all-academic selection
As a sophomore (2024)
• Did not miss a race during the entire spring season, competing with both the varsity eight and second varsity eight
• Sat at bow with the varsity eight each of the boat’s final five races of the season
• That includes winning a bronze medal at both the American and WIRA Championships with the team’s top boat
• Competed in the seven seat during the second varsity eight’s first six races of the spring
• American Athletic Conference all-academic selection
As a freshman (2023)
• Competed with the varsity eight in every spring race as a true freshman
• Sat in the five seat three times, the three seat on three occasions, and three times at bow
• Sat at bow when the boat won bronze at the WIRA Championship
• Sat in the five seat when the varsity eight beat Kansas State by over six seconds
• Sat at bow with the boat at the American Athletic Championship
