Biography

As a senior (2015): A second team all-American Athletic Conference selection, and named the team’s most outstanding rower…one of five Hornets to compete with the varsity eight in all 11 spring races…sat in four different seats with the boat, including the three seat (once), four seat (twice), five seat (five times) and six seat (three times)…finished the season in the six seat, helping the varsity eight to a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…competed with the varsity eight in 25 consecutive spring races dating back to her sophomore season.

As a junior (2014):
Competed with the varsity eight in all 12 spring races…sat in the five seat during the first race, in the three seat during the second race, and in the six seat each of the final 10 races of the year…won a silver medal with the boat at the WIRA Championships…one of five members on the team to race with the varsity eight in every spring race.

As a sophomore (2013):
Competed with both the varsity eight and second varsity eight during the spring…raced five times with the varsity eight (three times in the three seat, twice in the four seat), and in six races with the second varsity eight (four times in the six seat, twice in the four seat)…sat in the six seat with the second varsity eight in the boat’s silver medal-winning performance at the WIRA Championships…finished the season in the four seat with the varsity eight at the Dad Vail Regatta.

As a freshman (2012): Primarily competed with the novice eight at the four (once), six (twice) and five (four times) seats…sat at five for the boat’s bronze medal winning performance at the WIRA Championships…began the season sitting in the three seat with the second varsity eight in two races…sat at two with the novice four, which won bronze at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.

High School: A 2011 graduate of San Diego High School…a four-sport athlete, she competed four years of volleyball, three seasons of basketball, two years of softball and one season of swimming…was named the team MVP at least one time with the softball, volleyball and basketball teams…a second team all-Eastern League selection in softball after batting .415 in conference play during the 2010 season…helped the basketball team to a 2009 section and league championship as well as a 29-3 overall record.

Personal: Daughter of Susan Hamilton…graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2015 with a communication studies major…posted a 7:21.8 on the 2,000-meter erg test.
