Biography

As a senior (2017): Was the coxswain for the Hornets’ varsity four in all 11 spring races…was a second team all-WIRA selection after coxing the varsity four to a gold medal at the WIRA Championship…also coxed the boat to first place finishes at the Sacramento State Invitational and Hornet Invitational…was coxswain for the varsity four’s appearance at the American Athletic Conference Championship…has been the coxswain of the varsity four in 32 career spring races dating back to her freshman season…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the second straight year, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection.

As a junior (2016):
Named the varsity squad’s most inspirational rower…coxswain of three different boats during the spring, including the varsity eight, second varsity eight and second varsity four…coxed the second varsity four on three occasions, and the varsity eight and second varsity eight on one occasion…coxed the Hornets’ second varsity four to a silver medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

As a sophomore (2015):
Was coxswain of the varsity four in all 10 spring races…coxed the boat to gold medals at both the American Athletic Conference Championship and the WIRA Championship…the varsity four won each of its last five races of the spring…during the season, the boat posted wins over Gonzaga, Tulsa, Temple, Rhode Island, Central Florida, San Diego State, SMU and Loyola Marymount…has coxed the varsity four in 21 straight spring races dating back to last year, and the boat has now won a gold medal at the WIRA Championship in back-to-back years.

As a freshman (2014):
Was coxswain of the varsity four during each of the boat’s 11 spring races…coxed the boat to a gold medal at the WIRA Championships, and a 13-second victory over rival UC Davis…named to Conference USA’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Personal: A recreation administration major.
