Biography

As a senior (2022): Competed with the varsity eight in all nine spring races…sat in the three seat in each of those races…helped the Hornets’ top boat to first place finishes at the WIRA Championship, Sacramento State Invitational, and duals vs. Kansas State and UC San Diego…also won a bronze medal with the boat at the San Diego Crew Classic…the WIRA gold was the first for the Hornet varsity eight since 2010…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fifth straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award for the fourth straight season…did not missed a race during her five-year career, competing with either the varsity eight or second varsity eight each time.

As a senior (2021):
Competed with the second varsity eight in all four spring races…sat in the five seat in each of those competitions…won a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship with the second varsity eight…also helped the 2V8 to victories over USC and Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invite in Oregon…first win for the 2V8 over a nationally ranked program (#20 USC) in school history…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fourth straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award for the third straight season.

As a junior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the seven seat with the second varsity eight that defeated Kansas State…in the fall, she sat in the five seat with the varsity eight at the Head of the American, while also racing in a pair at the event…also sat at three with the second varsity four at the Head of the Port during the fall…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award for the second straight season, given by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) for academic excellence.

As a sophomore (2019):
Competed in all 11 races with the varsity eight…sat at four different seats with the team’s top boat, including six times in the seven seat, three times in the three seat, and once each in both the five and six seats…sat at seven when the varsity eight knocked off both Tulsa and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational…sat in the five seat when the Hornets beat UC Davis by 43 seconds in the season finale…has now competed with the varsity eight in every race during her freshman and sophomore seasons, a span of 23 straight races with the Hornets’ top boat…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

As a freshman (2018):
One of five Hornets to compete with the varsity eight in every spring race…sat in the six seat in each of the boat’s first eight races before closing the final four races in the five seat…sat in the five seat at the American Athletic Conference Championship…won a silver medal in the six seat at the San Diego Crew Classic, the highest finish for a Hornet varsity eight at the event since the 2009 season…sat at five for the Hornets’ 45-second win over UC Davis…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

Personal: A kinesiology major who graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2022.
