Biography

As a senior (2017): A second team all-American Athletic Conference selection after sitting at coxswain with the varsity eight during the entire spring…one of four Hornets to compete with the team’s top boat in all 11 spring races…coxed the varsity eight to a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…also coxed the boat to first place finishes at the Sacramento State Invitational and Hornet Invitational…this marked the first season of her career with the varsity eight…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the second straight year, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection.

As a junior (2016):
Was the coxswain for three different boats during the spring…coxed the second varsity eight on six occasions, the varsity four on five occasions, and once in the novice four…won a silver medal with the second varsity eight at both the American Athletic Conference Championship and the WIRA Championship…coxed the varsity four at the Lake Natoma Invitational and the San Diego Crew Classic…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

As a sophomore (2015):
Served as coxswain with four different boats during the spring season…coxed the third varsity eight twice, the second varsity four on four occasions, and the third varsity four on one occasion…was coxswain of the second varsity four which won bronze at the American Athletic Conference Championship.

As a freshman (2014):
Sat at coxswain with the novice eight in the boat’s final three races of the spring…opened the year by coxing the second novice eight the boat’s first four races…coxed the novice eight at the WIRA Championships and against UC Davis…received the Conference USA Academic Medal, awarded to student-athletes that carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 of better…also named to Conference USA’s Honor Roll for academic excellence.
