Biography

As a senior (2016): One of four team captains on the squad…a second team all-American Athletic Conference and second team all-WIRA selection…competed with the second varsity eight in 10 spring races…stroked the second varsity eight on eight occasions, and sat in the two seat twice…sat at two with the second varsity eight that won a silver medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…stroked the second varsity four at the season-opening Sacramento State Invitational.

As a junior (2015):
A second team all-WIRA selection…competed with the varsity four in all 10 spring races…stroked the varsity four on eight occasions, and sat in the two seat on two occasions…sat in the two seat when the varsity four won a gold medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…was a major contributor to a varsity four boat that won each of its last five races of the spring, and took home gold medals at the WIRA Championship and American Championship…during the season, the boat posted wins over Gonzaga, Tulsa, Temple, Rhode Island, Central Florida, San Diego State, SMU and Loyola Marymount.

As a sophomore (2014):
Competed at stroke with the second varsity four in the season-opening Sacramento State Invitational, but raced the final seven spring races with the varsity four…sat at stroke with the varsity four in each of those races…that included the varsity four’s gold-medal winning performance at the WIRA Championship in which the boat finished nearly 15 seconds faster than the second-place entry in the grand final.

As a freshman (2013):
Named the novice squad’s most inspirational rower…competed with the second novice eight in each of the boat’s races…spent the first three races in the two seat, before stroking the boat during the final three races of the spring…sat at stroke with the gold medal-winning second novice eight at the WIRA Championship…also sat at stroke with the novice four in the boat’s victory against UC Davis.

Personal: A sociology major.
