Biography

As a senior (2020): Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the two seat with the varsity eight that defeated Kansas State…in the fall, she sat in the six seat with the varsity eight at the Head of the American, while also racing in a pair at the event…has competed with the Hornets’ varsity eight in every spring race during her four years with the program, a span of 35 consecutive races…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

As a junior (2019):
Competed with the varsity eight in every spring race…of the varsity eight’s 11 spring races, Kupresanin sat at stroke eight times…also competed at five on two occasions, and once at six…stroked the boat to wins over Tulsa and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational…sat at six for the varsity eight’s 43-second win over UC Davis in the season finale.

As a sophomore (2018):
One of five rowers to compete with the varsity eight in all 12 spring races…sat in the seven seat in each of the boat’s first five races before competing at stroke the final seven races of the year…helped the varsity eight to a silver medal at the San Diego Crew Classic, the highest finish for the boat at the event since the 2009 season…helped the boat to a 45-second victory over UC Davis…has competed with the varsity eight in every spring race during each of her first two years with the program.

As a freshman (2017):
Competed with the varsity eight in every spring race as a true freshman…one of just four Hornets to compete with the varsity eight in all 11 spring races…was a nominee for Sacramento State’s Female Newcomer of the Year…competed in the two seat during the varsity eight’s first eight races…sat at stroke with the boat during the final three races, including the bronze medal winning performance at the American Athletic Conference Championship…sat in the two seat with the boat’s first place finishes at the Sacramento State Invitational and the Hornet Invitational.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Svetozar Markovic School in Novi Sad, Serbia…competed four years of club rowing for Danubius 1885 in Serbia…won a gold medal in the lightweight category, helping Danubius 1885 to a third place finish among all Serbian rowing clubs in 2016.

Personal: A nutrition and food major.…parents are Marko and Maja Kupresanin.
