Biography

As a senior (2021): Granted an extra year of eligibility because of the pandemic which cut the 2020 season short…was a team co-captain…competed with either the varsity eight or second varsity eight in all four spring races…sat in the three seat with the varsity eight in the season-opening win over Saint Mary’s…competed in the seven seat with the second varsity eight the final three races, which included a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship…also helped the 2V8 to victories over USC and Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invite in Oregon…first win for the 2V8 over a nationally ranked program (#20 USC) in school history…never missed a spring competition during her four-year career, a span of 37 races…won a medal all four full seasons of competition, which includesthree medals at the American Championship (two bronze, one silver), and a silver at the WIRA Championship…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fourth time.

As a senior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the seven seat with the varsity eight that defeated Kansas State by over five seconds…that marked the first race of her career with the varsity eight…in the fall, she sat at seven with the second varsity eight at the Head of the American, while also racing in a pair at the event…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third time.

As a junior (2019):
A second team all-Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association selection…one of five Hornets to compete with the second varsity eight in all 11 spring races…has now competed with the second varsity eight in every competition the last two seasons, a span of 23 consecutive races…sat in the seven seat in every second varsity eight race…helped the boat to a silver medal at the WIRA Championship…that boat also posted wins over Gonzaga and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational, and wins over San Diego State and Tennessee at the San Diego Crew Classic…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

As a sophomore (2018):
Competed with the second varsity eight in all 12 spring races…sat in the seven seat during the first eight races of the season, and then sat at five during the final four races…won a silver medal in the five seat at both the American Athletic Conference Championship and the WIRA Championship…one of just two Hornets to compete with the second varsity eight in every spring race.

As a freshman (2017):
Competed with the novice eight in seven of the boat’s eight spring races…that included four appearances in the four seat, twice in the six seat and once in the five seat…sat at bow with the third varsity four that won bronze at the American Athletic Conference Championship…sat in the five seat with the novice eight that placed third at the Sacramento State Invitational…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection.
