Biography

As a senior (2021): Competed in all four spring races…that included three times with the varsity eight, and once with the second varsity eight…with the V8, she sat in the six seat on two occasions, including the Sacramento State Invitational and American Athletic Conference Championship…sat at four with the boat on one occasion…her one race with the second varsity eight, she sat at four with the boat’s wins over USC and Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invitational in Oregon…first win for the 2V8 over a nationally ranked program (#20 USC) in school history…has never missed a race during her four-year career, a span of 29 spring races…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the third straight year…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fourth straight year.

As a junior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the four seat with the second varsity eight that defeated Kansas State…in the fall, she stroked the second varsity eight at the Head of the American, while also racing in a pair at the event…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third straight year…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for the second straight year.

As a sophomore (2019):
Competed with the second varsity eight in all 11 spring races…sat in the six seat during the boat’s first five races…moved to stroke at the Lake Natoma Invitational, and stroked the 2V8 the boat’s final six races of the year…stroked the boat to a silver at the WIRA Championship, and victories over Gonzaga and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invite…also sat at six with the 2V8 when the boat finished ahead of Tennessee and San Diego State at the San Diego Crew Classic…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

As a freshman (2018):
Competed in 13 spring races with the Hornets, all in the stroke seat…named the Most Improved Rower at the team’s end of the year banquet…stroked the varsity four on seven occasions, the novice eight on five occasions, and the novice four on one occasion…stroked the novice eight to a bronze medal at the San Diego Crew Classic, the first medal for the boat at the event in school history…stroked the varsity four to a bronze medal at the WIRA Championship…also stroked the varsity four at the American Championship…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

Personal: A liberal studies major…graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2021.
