Biography

As a senior (2022): Named the team’s most inspirational rower…competed with the varsity eight for the fourth straight season…stroked the Hornets’ top boat in all nine spring races…second straight year of stroking the varsity eight…helped the Hornets’ top boat to first place finishes at the WIRA Championship, Sacramento State Invitational, and duals vs. Kansas State and UC San Diego…also won a bronze medal with the boat at the San Diego Crew Classic…the WIRA gold was the first for the Hornet varsity eight since 2010…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the fourth straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award for the third straight year.

As a junior (2021):
A first team all-American Athletic Conference selection, and named the team’s Most Outstanding Rower…sat at stroke with the varsity eight in all four spring races…helped the varsity eight to sub 6:47 times in all four competitions…that included a win over Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invitational, the first win over the Bulldogs since 2010…has competed with the varsity eight in each of her first three seasons with the program…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award for the second straight year.

As a sophomore (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the bow seat with the varsity eight that defeated Kansas State by over five seconds…in the fall, she sat at bow with the varsity eight at the Head of the American…also sat at bow with the second varsity four at the Head of the Port during the fall…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the second straight year…recipient of the National Scholar Athlete Award, given by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) for academic excellence.

As a freshman (2019):
As a true freshman, she spent the first half of the season with the varsity eight, and the second half of the year with the second varsity eight…recipient of the Most Improved award at the team’s end of the year banquet…rowed in four different seats…competed in five races with the varsity eight, three times in the four seat and once in both the two and three seats…with the second varsity eight, she competed in six races - three times in the four seat, and three times in the five seat…sat at five when the second varsity eight won silver at the WIRA Championship…sat at four when the 2V8 beat both Gonzaga and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invite…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

Personal: A psychology major who graduated from Sacramento State…pursuing a master's in counseling.
