Biography

As a senior (2022): A team co-captain for the second straight season…sat in the stroke seat with the second varsity eight in eight of the nine spring races…stroked the boat to a silver medal at the WIRA Championship…sat in the four seat with the varsity eight at the season-opening victory at the Sacramento State Invitational…competed all five years with the either the varsity eight or second varsity eight, never missing a race during that stretch…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection for the third straight season.

As a senior (2021):
Was a team co-captain…sat at stroke with the second varsity eight in all four spring races…also competed at stroke with the second varsity four at the Sacramento State Invitational…won a bronze medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship with the second varsity eight…also helped the 2V8 to victories over USC and Gonzaga at the Dexter Lake Invite in Oregon…first win for the 2V8 over a nationally ranked program (#20 USC) in school history…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

As a junior (2020):
Competed in the Hornets’ lone spring regatta against Kansas State before the season was cut short…sat in the stroke seat with the varsity eight that defeated Kansas State by over five seconds…in the fall, she stroked the varsity eight at the Head of the American, while also racing in a pair at the event…stroked the second varsity four at the Head of the Port during the fall…an American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.

As a sophomore (2019):
Competed in 10 spring races during her second year with the Hornets…sat at stroke with the second varsity eight during each of the boat’s first five races of the year…then moved to the varsity eight where she competed in the four seat in five straight races…missed the season finale with injury…moved into the varsity eight lineup at the Lake Natoma Invitational where she helped the boat to victories over Tulsa and Miami.

As a freshman (2018):
One of two Hornets to compete with the second varsity eight in all 12 of the boat’s spring races…sat in the four seat in the first five races of the spring, before moving to the six seat in three races, and wrapping up the season competing the final four races at stroke…stroked the second varsity eight to a silver medal at both the American Athletic Conference Championship and the WIRA Championship.

Personal: A psychology major who graduated from Sacramento State in the spring of 2022.
